Sometimes, especially lately, it feels like the world is on fire. So we figured, why not contribute a flame of positivity? We want to burn away the negative energy, fire the patriarchy, and ignite the creative spirit with our handcrafted, locally made, 100% vegan candles. We're two sisters trying to make the world a little brighter, one wick at a time. Our name, Dangerously Lit, comes from Natalie's career as a high school English teacher, because great literature has often been considered inflammatory. Our designs represent everything from the duskiness of gothic nightfall to playful bursts of morning sunlight. We revel in capturing life's beauty in all its forms, and we are excited to share that joy with you.

About Our Candles
Our cruelty-free candles are made with a soy, coconut, and paraffin wax blend. (Some candles are simply soy and coconut, and NONE of the paraffin blend contains stearic acid.). The dye we use is completely vegan, safe for the skin, and non-toxic. Many of our candles are scent-free so people sensisitve to strong fragrances can still enjoy them. Our scented candles use essential oils made from plants, flowers, and other all-natural ingredients. Each candle is lovingly handcrafted in very small batches in Portland, Oregon.
